It is September 1981 and Florence is in the throes of the new wave, dark, and punk, the new sound coming from the United Kingdom. A group of young (some very young) entrepreneurs decide to create a new, alternative nightclub that is attentive to new styles: thus the Tenax is born. The boom is not immediate, but within a few months the club becomes a meeting point for artists, designers, and emerging musicians, a sort of Greenwich Village of the Tuscan capital, and beyond.
